How I got here:
I was born in Summerside, PEI, raised in Guelph Ontario, attended Sheridan College in Mississauga, worked in the Greater Toronto Area for several years relocating to Waterloo for my career in 2001 and finally landing in London for my family in 2006. The majority of my career has been in Customer Service, Sales and Marketing in Retail, Health Care and currently in real estate as a Sales Representative for Royal LePage Triland Realty, Brokerage. My husband Paul was born and raised in London and is an elementary teacher with the Thames Valley District School Board. Paul and I have one son Justin who is in his 3rd year of high school.
Service and Awards:
I strive to provide all of my customers and clients with a personal experience tailored to their needs. I am committed to excellence and customer service, building lasting relationships along the way. Starting in the business in mid 2010, my first year was a fun and exciting one. At the end of my first year I was award the“Rookie of the Year” award, along with “The Sales Achievement” award for sales. In 2012 and 2013 taking it to the next level I was awarded the “President Gold Award” in recognition of Professionalism and Sales Leadership. 2014 my biggest year to date I was thrilled to make the “Director’s Platinum Award” level, signifying exemplary salesaccomplishment.
My family makes giving back to the community we live in a priority. Since 2011 I have held the position of London Representative for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, as well as being the committee leader for the annual National Royal LePage Shelter Foundation Garage Sale Committee within our office. In 2014 I was the lucky recipient of the Ontario Individual of the Year Shelter award, voted by my peers for outstanding or extraordinary contribution to my local community and the Royal LePageShelter Foundation. My favourite part of this amazing honour, was with this nomination I set a record, receiving the highest number of nominations in the history of the award. This proved to me that I work with a large group of dedicated realtors, within an organization, which is, as committed to our community as I am! Our fund-raising activities wouldn't be a success without the hard work and determination of all of the realtors, owners, management and staff at Royal LePage Triland. What a great company to work for! I volunteer my time along with my family at Women’s Community House. My son Justin started volunteering at the age of 10 as the youngest volunteer at the Women's Community House. At Women'sCommunity House we have worked together in the kitchen to assist the head chefwith meal preparation, serving and occasionally preparing dinner as respite for the head chef. As a family, Paul, Justin and I donate our time each year to serve breakfast Christmas morning, to the women staying at the shelter over the holidays. We all roll up our sleeves to help with the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation Garage sale each year. I also volunteer my time on several other committees including My Sisters' Place (a day shelter for homeless or at risk of homelessness women), The Salvations Army Kettle Bell Drive, London Chamber of Commerce and the London and St. Thomas Association of Realtors. Giving back to those in need in our community is a priority. Lastly, I include my clients to share in the giving, with each real estate transaction completed; I make a donation to the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation to support our local Shelters, which earns me a spot in the top 10% of donors nationally each year. If you are interested in learning more or participating, I have many connections in the community if you or your children are looking for volunteer opportunities in our city please call any time. During the year I participate in many fund raising and community events, I will make sure to keep you in the loop on all things related to the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation!
Why I love London Ontario:
Love may have brought me to London but I didn’t know at the time I would fall so in love with London. Our city is the biggest small town you will ever live in, everybody knows everybody and all you have to do is join in. Over the years I have had the opportunity to meet some of the nicest people. Through my efforts to network, joining the London Chamber of Commerce, several smaller networking groups, volunteering, family and friends I have found my home! On top of that you can’t beat the theatre, festivals, arts, dining and entertainment this city has to offer.
Your Real-Estate consultant for life:
During what is often called one ofthe most stressful and important decisions you will make, I try to keep the real estate transaction fun for my clients.
However our relationship doesn’t end on moving day. I have and continue to work very hard to form relationships with many service providers in London. If you ever need a referral to a quality electrician, financial planner or handyman, I am here to help! All of the services I recommend I have used personally, and feel very confident you will receive a high level of service from them.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little better, if you are in the early stage, late state or even the thinking stage of buying or selling a home, feel free to call or email me any time. My guarantee to you and your family is that I will never push you or sell to you. I will help you instead by educating you on what is out there and assist you in making a great move. If you are up for a chat, let's meet at start bucks and I will treat you to a coffee! Let me help you... make it a great move!
