Tony was great to work with. He walked us through the whole process step-by-step so there weren't any surprises. He offered us great advice based on his years of experience. if there were any issues, he jumped right on it to resolve them. He, also, has a great sense of humour. It was fun working with him. I made a decision to check into the purchase of a condominium around 2009. I spoke with a very close friend who, fortunately had also used Tony as her real estate agent. Her recommendation to contact him was the best decision I made. During my initial contact with Tony, I was very clear that I had no intention of selling my current home and purchasing another at the present time . . . I was "tire" kicking. He was most gracious and advised he'd be happy to work with me in whatever time frame was best for me. During the time of being shown several different condos and locations, I realized that not only was he was extremely knowledgeable about the Cambridge real estate market, he also had a great deal of integrity. He listened to my requirements very carefully in terms of location and was able to find the "perfect" spot for me! Well located . . . safe . . . and in the right price range. He was a joy to work with during my transition of purchasing and selling. This was the first time I had ever purchased a home on my own and Tony was extremely kind and patient. When I made the decision to lease my condo, I contacted Tony. Once again, it was handled with the same courtesy and professionalism that I'd experienced during the original purchase/selling of my home. He showed the same patience, not to mention a great sense of humour, that I have so enjoyed during all of my dealings with him. His integrity and expertise prompted me to advise my son to call Tony when he was looking for a real estate agent. My son, in turn, recommended Tony to a friend of his when he was looking to sell his home. There truly is nothing better than word of mouth advertising. Relocating to a new area created a whole pile of stress. New jobs, new neighbourhood, and the firts/biggest stress of all - not knowing a realtor to work with. We were very comfortable with the agent we had used many times in our "old" neighbourhood - but entering into a new area, and a new real estate market, our first priority became finding someone we could trust. We set up "interviews" with a few agents, and as soon as I met Tony, I cancelled the other meetings. We were not disappointed. Tony knows the area, and the market really well. He is very collaborative, and accessible. He listened to us (even as we changed our minds and our priorities), and never made us feel like we were anything other than his highest priority. We didn't feel pushed, but we also didn't feel like we were left alone to navigate through this new adventure. I don't know if I can actually imagine getting through this as smoothly, without Tony. Yes, we have been through many real estate transactions, but for the first time in YEARS we had to build that trust with a different agent. As someone new to the Cambridge area, I had no idea where to begin my home search or who I should call to help. Someone had given me Tony's name and I emailed him asking to view at least six homes that weekend. He had never met or spoken to me before. Within a couple hours, he emailed me back with appointments for that weekend. Just from that email and his prompt reply, I had a great first impression. Upon meeting Tony that weekend and viewing the homes, I could see that he was not pushy at all and very keen to know exactly what I was looking for in a home. During the next couple of months working with Tony, I found him to be very patient, knowledgeable and accommodating to my schedule, as I was living in Toronto during my search. When the house I thought was "the one" fell through on inspection, I decided to take a break from house hunting for a while but told Tony that if he were to see something that met my criteria, to send me the listing. A short while later, Tony sent me a listing he knew I'd like that was scheduled to hit the market a few days later. He nailed it! I was in love with the house and put an offer in before setting foot in the place! Through-out the offering and finalizing process, again Tony was a pro and a pleasure to work with. He was always fair and upfront. I didn't experience any stress buying a home and I can honestly say, Tony played a huge part in that! A 5-star rating for sure!!
