After 15 years of working in Marketing and Advertising, it was time for a change. I was intrigued by the Real Estate process after buying and selling 3 of my homes. As I always liked working with people, I decided to get my Real Estate license .
I heard so many horror stories from family and friends, who had bad experiences with their former agent, and I was determined NOT to become another one of those stories. I wanted my clients to enjoy the home buying and selling experience and to feel that I did a great job for them.
I attended extensive training courses and worked with successful teams to learn best practices when working with buyers and sellers.
To further my education, I got my Brokers License in 2012 and started a brokerage with my partner, Steve Walker. We learned a lot that year but mostly that we were spending too much time handling administrative duties and not enough time doing what we both loved, working with our clients.
As our goal was to set ourselves apart from the average agent, we really wanted to offer our clients WOW service.
This year, we started a Guaranteed Sales Program for both our buyers and sellers. We want our clients to feel confident in our abilities to represent them - and guaranteeing our services is the best way we know how.
When clients are looking to sell their homes, marketing a home effectively can mean the difference between selling your home, and selling your home for the most amount of money. This is why Steve and I invest in our Unique Buyer Profile System that allows us to market to Buyers who are searching for a home. Every day, we get Buyers signing up to our system in order to find homes. So when one of our Sellers decides to sell, we already have Buyers in waiting!
Lastly, one of the other reasons we are so happy to help our clients is because it gives us the opportunity to help those in need. We have partnered with two charitable organizations that help kids suffering with mental health issues. We started our Referral Program and our goal is to raise $8,000 for both Jack.org and Oolagen Youth Mental Health. With every sale, Steve and I donate $200 to the charities and a further $1,000 for each referral. We are proud to work with such great organizations.
