I was born in a small town on the north of Mexico called Navojoa, I graduated with honors in accounting at Autonomous University of Guadalajara. By the time I finished University I was married and had given birth to my first child, and was expecting the second child. In December of 1997, I arrived in Toronto, Canada, with 3 children and husband at that time, and money was very tight. It was extremely difficult for the first 5 years; there were many new things to learn and get adjusted to; we intended to stay here for 2 years only. However, we applied for Permanent Residence and got it soon after. Just when we were about to become Canadian citizens I gave birth to my fourth child.
Some of the businesses I got involved in, before pursuing my career and business in Real Estate, were promoting Mexican products. Sometime after I joined a multilevel company and was very successful; I got to top levels in a very short time. In the search for a way of making a living I started selling plane tickets for an established travel agency where I had to learn a lot about the industry and bookings. I was the first travel agent in that company to work from home when internet booking was not available. This experience helped me to realize how much I enjoy helping and being with people.
I was working for this company when the tragedy of September 11th occurred. It was at that moment that I had to think of another business; the travel Industry was not the business for me anymore. At that time, I was taking Real Estate Investment Seminars, looking to learn how to invest in Real Estate in Canada. Soon after, I took the Courses to get my license as a realtor which I have taken very seriously since 2004, fulfilling my passion and creating a nonstop growing career and business.
