As we head into October, we will be seeing an unprecedented level of housing inventory in the market. In fact, this will be opposite to the shortage of supply that we experienced in the first quarter of this year. The number of active listings is expected to increase or stay the same given that sellers are worried about price declines. In addition, the condo pre-construction market is expected to launch 17,000 units over the fall. Buyers will finally have more choice and negotiating power that they have been waiting for.
